The year 2020 has been great for Tips Music, as the company signs one more global deal with Facebook, the most popular social media platform. Facebook can now license its videos and other social experiences across Facebook and Instagram. The Tips library is full of music and artists of yesteryears.
The deal will let users of Facebook and Instagram add Tips music catalog to their posts and stories. Users will find many artists like Atif Aslam, Kumar Sanu, Alka Yagnik, Udit Narayan, adding them to create creative posts and stories.
Founder of Tips, Kumar Taurani said in a media talk, “We aim to provide our users with something which they can use to express themselves better. Millions of users of Facebook and Instagram will be able to add our songs to their Facebook and Instagram stories.”
Tips are expecting their users to make their content premium and share stories that make good memories
The director of Facebook India, Manish Chopra mentioned, “Our partnership with Tips Music strengthens our music offering by providing and celebrating the best of 90s.”
Other popular labels like T-series send copyright infringement notices to platforms and apps like Roposo, Triller, Taka Tak, Snack Video, etc. However, many applications like ShareChat, Chingari, Rizzle, MX Taka Tak, are deciding on investing up to Rs 200 crore each year to license catalogs of music libraries of T-Series, Zee Music, Sony, and Times Music. Video services mention that they were always looking or legitimizing music libraries.
