Jayashree Ramaiah was found hanging inside the room of her residence in Pragathi layout in Magadi road in the city. The actress who made her acting debut in 2017, was also seen as one of the contestants of Bigg Boss Kannada Season 3.

It is said that she was battling depression for a long time. She went live on Facebook and spoke about her battle with depression. We have also heard statements from here where she said, “I want mercy killing. I am a loser”. She further mentioned that she isn’t doing this for publicity. She also added that she isn’t seeking financial help.
According to the sources, Kiccha had spoken to her after the live session. Post this, Jayashree took it to her social media account posting, “Thank you very much Sudeep sir, for your concern. You saved my life with your team. Much love to my dear friends and fans. Sorry I had trouble with my vision, I am back in the old form. Many thanks and lots of love to the media for supporting me.”
Jayashree Ramaiah posted a shocking statement on Facebook on July 22, 2020, saying, “I quit. Goodbye to this f*****g world and depression.” She later deleted the post and posted an update saying, “I’m Alright and safe!! Love you all.”
Her body has been sent for postmortem, and the Bangaluru police have started the investigation.
